Attorney Bart Benton

Be Smart. Call Bart!

Bart Benton founded Benton & Benton with one goal in mind: to help people who have been injured get the justice they deserve. After years of working as a defense attorney for insurance companies and corporations, Bart gained invaluable insight into how these entities evaluate and defend personal injury cases. Armed with this inside knowledge, he knows what makes insurance companies nervous—and what motivates them to settle.

Since establishing Benton & Benton, Bart has recovered over numerous high-value recoveries, including seven- and eight-figure results. His results and dedication have not gone unnoticed—Bart has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine for five consecutive years, an honor awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys.

A true son of Monroe, Georgia, Bart was born and raised in the community he now serves. He attended George Walton Academy from kindergarten through high school before heading to The College of Charleston, where he graduated with honors and played basketball under legendary coach Bobby Cremins. Bart then earned his law degree at Georgia State University, where he excelled in litigation and represented his school in four national mock trial competitions, including a runner-up finish at the South Texas Mock Trial Challenge.

Today, Bart lives in Monroe with his wife, Whitney, and their daughter, Amy Rae. As a family man and a hometown attorney, Bart takes pride in running a firm that treats clients like family, offering the personal attention and care you deserve.
